Dental Assistant / Office Support — Part-Time, Fixed Schedule Pearly White Dental Spa —
Weston, FL Pay:
$15.00-$20.00 per hour
Required Schedule:
Monday, Wednesday & Thursday | 8:30 AM-3:00
PM Work Location:
In person Please Read Before Applying This is a fixed, three-day-per-week position requiring consistent availability every Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 8:30 AM to 3:00 PM . About Our Practice Pearly White Dental Spa is a small, patient-focused dental practice built around calm, consistency, cleanliness, and quality care . We are not a high-volume clinic. We value a well-organized environment, thoughtful patient care, clear expectations, and team members who take ownership of their responsibilities. The Role We are looking for a dependable Dental Assistant / Office Support Team Member to help keep both our clinical care and daily office operations running smoothly. This is a hands-on position that combines: Chairside dental assisting Sterilization and operatory preparation Maintaining a clean, organized, patient-ready environment Supporting the daily readiness of the practice Because we are a small team, everyone contributes to keeping the office running at a high standard. Key Responsibilities Clinical & Chairside Support Assist chairside during dental procedures Prepare, break down, and reset operatories Take dental radiographs when appropriately certified Follow infection-control protocols Sterilize, organize, and track instruments Help ensure treatment rooms are fully prepared for each patient Office Cleanliness & Organization Maintaining our clean, welcoming environment is an important part of this position.
Responsibilities include:
Cleaning and resetting operatories between patients Vacuuming, mopping, and maintaining floors as needed Cleaning, checking, and restocking patient/staff bathrooms Removing trash and maintaining appropriate waste areas Keeping clinical and common areas organized Helping ensure the entire office remains clean, professional, and patient-ready throughout the day Daily Office Readiness Follow established opening and closing checklists Restock clinical and office supplies Monitor supplies and communicate when items are running low Ensure rooms, equipment, and work areas are ready for the day Complete assigned tasks without needing constant supervision Who Will Do Well Here We are looking for someone who: Is highly reliable and punctual Takes genuine pride in cleanliness and organization Notices what needs to be done and takes initiative Can follow established systems and checklists Is calm, friendly, and professional with patients Is comfortable working as part of a small team Understands that consistency and accountability are important Is willing to help wherever reasonably needed to keep the practice running smoothly Qualifications Dental assisting experience preferred Florida EFDA or CDA preferred, but not required Dental radiography certification preferred, or willingness to obtain CPR/BLS certification preferred, or willingness to obtain Reliable transportation Ability to consistently work the required Monday/Wednesday/Thursday schedule Why You May Like Working Here Predictable three-day schedule Small, patient-focused practice Calm environment rather than a high-volume clinic Clear responsibilities and expectations Organized systems and checklists Opportunity to become an important part of a small, consistent team
Pay:
