Responsibilities Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures by providing necessary instruments and materials. Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment following infection control protocols. Take dental radiographs and ensure proper imaging techniques are applied. Maintain accurate patient records, including medical history and treatment plans, while ensuring confidentiality. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, post-operative care, and preventive measures. Schedule patient appointments as needed and manage the front desk as needed to ensure efficient office operations. Monitor inventory levels of dental supplies and assist in ordering when necessary. Stay updated on advancements in dental technology and procedures to enhance patient care. Requirements Proven experience as a Dental Assistant or in a similar role is preferred. Knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and aseptic techniques is essential. Proficiency in dental scanning techniques and infection control standards is required. Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills to interact positively with patients and team members.
