Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental team. Duties Assist dentists during a wide range of procedures including hygiene, restorative, oral surgery, orthodontic, prosthodontic, implant and botox dentistry with precision and confidence. Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing and organizing dental instruments, ensuring compliance with infection prevention management and aseptic techniques. Take and develop dental X-rays using advanced medical imaging equipment such as 3D scanners and dental x-ray machines, adhering to HIPAA regulations for patient privacy. Manage patient records accurately using electronic medical records (EMR) systems software, ensuring all documentation meets clinical confidentiality policies. Provide chairside assistance by managing dental instruments, materials, and supplies efficiently during procedures while maintaining clinical cleanliness. Monitor vital signs and assist in patient management to ensure comfort and safety throughout visits. Educate patients on oral health care, post-treatment instructions, and preventive practices to promote long-term dental health. Skills Proficiency in dental assisting techniques including four-handed dentistry and oral surgery support. Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and general dentistry procedures to facilitate effective communication with patients and team members. Experience with dental sterilization procedures and infection control protocols to uphold the highest standards of safety. Familiarity with dental equipment such as X-ray machines, 3D scanners, and other clinical tools used in modern dental practices. Ability to operate patient management software scheduling, documentation, and billing purposes. Excellent understanding of healthcare infection prevention and control expertise to maintain a sterile environment at all times. Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dentistry and the ability to document medical records accurately for comprehensive patient care.
