Pinewood Dentistry & Implants - Cumming, GA At Pinewood Dentistry & Implants, we are building a team centered around exceptional patient care, advanced dentistry, personal and professional growth. We are looking for a motivated, organized, and team-oriented Dental Assistant who wants more than a routine assisting job. Why Our Office Is Different We are not a traditional "check and clean" office. Our assistants are actively involved in advanced dentistry and modern digital workflows, including: Dental implants and surgical procedures Sedation dentistry Cosmetic dentistry Full-mouth rehabilitation Same-day CEREC crowns Invisalign Endodontics/root canals Digital smile design iTero scanning CBCT 3D imaging Digital photography and workflow systems Our assistants play an important role in: Patient education and communication Surgical setup and assisting Scanning and digital workflows Invisalign delivery and monitoring Advanced restorative procedures Maintaining efficient clinical flow Creating an exceptional patient experience This position is ideal for someone who wants to expand their clinical skills and build a long-term career in dentistry — not just "clock in and clock out." What We're Looking For The ideal candidate is: Positive, coachable, and growth-minded Organized and detail-oriented Professional and dependable Comfortable communicating with patients Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment Team-oriented with a strong work ethic Focused on creating an exceptional patient experience Someone who takes pride in their work and wants to continually improve Minimum Requirements Minimum 1 year of dental assisting experience High school diploma or equivalent Ability to commute to Cumming Comfortable working in a fast-paced clinical environment Strong communication and organizational skills Preferred Qualifications Experience with Invisalign and iTero scanning Expanded Functions certification (EFDA) Surgical or implant assisting experience Experience in a digital dental office Applicants do not need experience in every procedure we perform.
