Orthodontic Assistant - Full-Time Are you compassionate, detail-oriented, and energized by helping patients feel comfortable and confident? Cranford Orthodontics, a well-established, patient-centered orthodontic practice in Newnan, is seeking a full-time Orthodontic Assistant to join our clinical team. We are looking for someone who enjoys working with children, teenagers, and adults and wants to grow in a positive, team-oriented environment. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, dependable, and comfortable solving problems. Most importantly, we're looking for someone with excellent people skills, a genuine desire to learn, and a willingness to contribute to the team. Orthodontic experience is helpful, but it is not required. We are happy to train the right person. Key Responsibilities Providing chairside assistance during orthodontic procedures Preparing and sterilizing instruments Educating patients about oral hygiene and appliance care Assisting with digital impressions, photographs, records, and other clinical procedures Maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient clinical environment Helping patients feel welcomed, comfortable, and cared for throughout their visits Supporting teammates to keep the clinical schedule running smoothly Compensation and Benefits Starting pay of $22 per hour, with higher compensation considered based on relevant experience 401(k) retirement plan Paid holidays and personal days QSEHRA healthcare reimbursement of up to $450 per month for eligible insurance premiums and qualified medical expenses Paid uniforms Employee discounts Parental leave On-the-job training and ongoing professional development Performance-based bonuses One office location—no travel between offices Schedule Monday through
Thursday:
Patient care, 8:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m.
Rotating Fridays:
8:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m., with administrative responsibilities and limited patient care as needed Qualifications Dental assisting experience: One year preferred Orthodontic assisting experience is a plus but is not required Strong communication and interpersonal skills Dependable, organized, and attentive to detail Willingness to learn, accept feedback, and work collaboratively Please Note To avoid disrupting patient care, please do not call the office regarding this position during business hours.
