Summary We are seeking a Pediatric Dental Assistant to join our team at Pooler Pediatric Dentistry. This role is essential in supporting our pediatric dental practice by ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for our young patients while assisting the dentist in various procedures. Responsibilities Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures with children. Prepare treatment rooms and ensure all necessary instruments are sterilized and ready for use. Educate patients and their families on proper oral hygiene practices. Maintain accurate patient records and assist with scheduling appointments. Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and HIPAA regulations. Support the front desk with administrative tasks as needed. Requirements Experience as a dental assistant, preferably in pediatrics or a related field. Knowledge of infection control procedures and dental terminology. Familiarity with dental software such as Dentrix or Epic is a plus. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with children and parents.
