Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in assisting the dentist during dental procedures and providing exceptional patient care. This is a full-time position (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday 7:30 am until 5:30 pm) with competitive pay.Responsibilities:
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures, including but not limited to fillings, extractions, root canals, CEREC Crowns, implants
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments
- Take and develop dental X-rays
- Utilize CEREC technology for designing dental restorations
- Maintain aseptic technique and infection control protocols
- Record and update patient medical history and vital signs
- Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques
- Schedule patient appointments and manage patient records
Experience:
To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications:- Previous experience as a Dental Assistant or relevant healthcare experience preferred
- Proficiency in dental assisting techniques, including X-ray imaging
- Familiarity with CEREC and Itero technology
- Knowledge of aseptic technique, anatomy, infection control
