Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures and help provide quality patient care. Responsibilities
- Prepare treatment rooms for dental procedures
- Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment
- Assist the dentist during examinations and treatment procedures
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and postoperative care
- Take and develop dental x-rays
- Maintain accurate patient records
- Schedule appointments and manage patient flow Experience
- Proficiency in dental terminology, procedures, and systems
- Knowledge of dental anatomy and four-handed dentistry techniques
- Experience with dental receptionist duties is a plus
- Familiarity with medical terminology, HIPAA regulations, and medical coding
- Experience in pediatric dentistry is advantageous
- Ability to operate 3D scanners like iTero or Trios
