Job Description

Position Summary We are seeking a reliable, organized, and patient-focused Dental Assistant to support our dental team in delivering high-quality patient care. The Dental Assistant will assist dentists during procedures, prepare treatment rooms, maintain equipment, and help ensure a positive patient experience. Key Responsibilities Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for dental procedures. Assist the dentist during examinations, treatments, and surgeries. Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) in accordance with regulations. Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment. Ensure compliance with infection control, safety, and HIPAA regulations. Preferred Experience 1-2 years of experience as a Dental Assistant in a general or specialty dental practice. Experience taking digital X-rays and assisting with a variety of dental procedures. Familiarity with electronic dental records systems. Skills & Competencies Patient care Chairside assisting Infection control and sterilization Time management and multitasking Team collaboration Professionalism and confidentiality Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods. Manual dexterity to handle dental instruments and equipment. Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally. Equal Opportunity Employer.
