This position involves chairside assisting, preparing treatment rooms, sterilizing instruments, and maintaining accurate patient records. Responsibilities Assist dentists during examinations and dental procedures. Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and supplies before appointments. Clean and sterilize instruments and disinfect treatment areas according to office infection control procedures. Take dental X-rays as permitted by applicable requirements and office protocols. Record treatment information accurately in Open Dental. Help patients feel comfortable and provide instructions as directed by the dentist. Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality. Keep clinical supplies organized and communicate replenishment needs. Coordinate with the clinical and front desk teams to support patient flow. Qualifications Previous dental assisting experience. Knowledge of dental instruments, terminology, and infection control procedures. Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills. Ability to follow instructions and manage responsibilities in a busy dental office. Experience with Open Dental or similar dental practice software is preferred.
Pay:
$18.00 - $25.00 per hour
