Tooth Haven Pediatric Dentistry is looking for a Full-Time Dental Assistant to join our growing practice! We are looking for someone who is upbeat, dependable, compassionate, and enjoys helping children feel comfortable and confident at the dentist. Bilingual English/Spanish is a big plus! What You'll Do Assist our doctors with pediatric dental procedures Prepare treatment rooms and patients for procedures Take dental X-rays as permitted by Iowa requirements Provide excellent chairside assistance using four-handed dentistry Sterilize instruments and maintain proper infection-control protocols Help children feel safe, comfortable, and excited about their dental visits Communicate clearly and professionally with parents and caregivers Maintain clean, organized, and fully stocked treatment rooms Assist with patient flow to keep the clinical schedule running efficiently Work closely with doctors, hygienists, front-office team members, and fellow assistants Help create the fun, positive patient experience Tooth Haven is known for We're Looking For Someone Who Is Friendly, outgoing, and great with children Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented Able to thrive in a busy, fast-paced pediatric environment An excellent communicator Organized and attentive to detail Comfortable working with both children and parents Willing to learn and grow with the practice Bilingual English/Spanish - a plus Pediatric dental experience - a plus Applicants should meet applicable Iowa dental assistant registration and radiography requirements for the duties they will perform.
