The ideal candidate will play a vital role to help ensure a smooth and efficient workflow within the office, while providing exceptional patient care. As a Dental Assistant, you will assist the dentist during procedures, manage patient records, and maintain a clean and organized environment. Duties Assist the dentist during various dental procedures, ensuring comfort and safety for patients. Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and setting up necessary materials. Make dental images as directed by the dentist. Maintain accurate patient records, including medical history and treatment plans. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care. Implement infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff. Support various dental specialties including Endodontics and Prosthodontics as needed. Utilize dental terminology in communication with both patients and staff. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient office operations. Skills Willing to learn to be, or already be, proficient in dental assisting practices. Knowledge of Eaglesoft a plus. Understanding of, or ability to learn, dental terminology and procedures. Experience with imaging techniques is advantageous. Familiarity with infection control standards in a clinical setting. Ability to assist in specialized areas such as Endodontics and Prosthodontics. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with patients and team members. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail to maintain accurate patient records and manage office tasks efficiently.
