Job Description

Dental Assistant - Town Square Dental Care is seeking a positive, motivated and dependable individual with a strong work ethic to join our team as a Dental Assistant. We strive to achieve a great team culture and provide the type of office you look forward to coming to each day.
Job Type:
Part-time with the opportunity to add hours in the future: Tuesday-Thursday, 7:45 AM to 5:15 PM (daily break for lunch) On call (for emergency care only) one weekend a month Office is closed Friday-Sunday $20-$26/hour
This Position Requires:
1 year experience preferred CDA or RDA license Certification to perform CPR and AED for healthcare professionals Comfortable with lab work Great verbal and customer service skills Attention to detail and the ability to follow-through on tasks Ability to support a team in a stable and mature manner Versatility, an eagerness to learn and be open to feedback Computer skills (we use XL Dent and Dexis for radiographs) Cerec/scanner and/or milling experience or willingness to learn
Responsibilities:
Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures Setup and breakdown operatories after treatment has been completed Take dental radiographs (x-rays) Proper infection control - preparing and sterilizing instruments and equipment Assisting in sterilization Perform various office tasks including cross training at the front desk Explaining treatment plans for patients Utilize a Cerec scanner Take impressions, pour up and trim models Fabricate retainers, mouthguards, bleach trays, etc
