4 day work week Hours include:Monday:
7:30AM-8PM ,Tues/Thurs/ Fri:
7:30AM-5PM ( schedule subject to change should a 6th DDS join the Dept) Successful candidate must have solid experience & advanced knowledge of:- Accredited dental assisting degree.
- IA Dental Assistant registration, or within 60-days of hire.
- Dental radiography certification, or within 6-months of hire.
- Current BCLS & Mandatory Reporter certifications, or within 30-days of hire.
- Strong ability to be flexible and adjust to multiple provider needs and practice styles without notice.
- Proficient in multiple task management.
- Strong ability to work independently and quickly between patients.
- Experience preferred with Expanded Functions a definite plus.
- Bi-lingual a definite plus Successful candidate must be able to perform primary functions of position:
- Work chair side with providers, overflow columns, and hygiene assistant.
- Assist provider teams and hygienists with seating, dismissing and operatory clean up between patients.
- Assist with emergency patients, heavy schedules and assist with volunteer providers chair-side as needed.
- Prepare operatory/clinic areas for treatment activities.
- Cleans & disinfects operatories, instruments.
- Maintain & replenish supplies.
- Maintain & complete patient records.
- These functions are not all inclusive.
