Schedule Full-Time Monday:
8:00 AM•5:00
PM Tuesday:
8:00 AM•5:00 PM or 12:00 PM•7:00 PM (alternating weeks)
Wednesday:
8:00 AM•5:00 PM or 12:00 PM•7:00 PM (alternating weeks)
Thursday:
8:00 AM•5:00
PM Friday:
8:00 AM•2:00 PM What You'll Do As a Dental Assistant, you'll play an essential role in helping our doctors provide high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities include:
Assist dentists during examinations and dental procedures Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments Take digital dental X-rays Update patient records and medical histories Educate patients on post-operative instructions Maintain OSHA and infection control standards Monitor and organize dental supplies and inventory Support front office operations as needed What We're Looking For Organized and detail-oriented Friendly and professional Adaptable in a fast-paced environment A strong communicator Dependable and punctual A critical thinker with excellent problem-solving skills A positive team player committed to outstanding patient care Qualifications Dental assisting experience preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate X-ray experience is a plus Experience with Dentrix is helpful but not required Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to multitask while maintaining exceptional patient care About Oak Mountain Dental Oak Mountain Dental is a modern family dental practice serving the Pocatello community.
