BILINGUAL ENGLISH/SPANISH REQUIRED. EXPERIENCE REQUIRED.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures
- Take and record vital signs of patients
- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments
- Take and develop dental x-rays
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Manage and organize dental supplies and inventory
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
Skills:
- Proficiency in Dentrix or similar dental practice management systems
- Knowledge of dental assisting techniques and procedures
- Familiarity with medical records management and documentation
- Ability to take and develop dental x-rays
- Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
