Dental Assistant:

Assist the dentist during examinations, procedures, and treatments Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, materials, and equipment for procedures Sterilize and disinfect instruments while maintaining proper infection-control protocols Seat patients, review medical histories, and prepare patients for treatment Take and process dental X-rays as permitted by state regulations Provide chairside assistance, including instrument transfer, suctioning, and maintaining a clear operating field Take impressions, intraoral scans, photographs, and other diagnostic records as directed Prepare dental materials, including cements, impression materials, and temporary restorative materials Educate patients on post-operative instructions, oral hygiene, and treatment recommendations Maintain accurate clinical notes and update patient records following treatment Monitor dental supplies, restock treatment rooms, and notify management when inventory is low Clean and efficiently turn over treatment rooms between patients Assist with laboratory cases by preparing, tracking, and organizing cases as needed Follow OSHA, HIPAA, infection-control, and workplace safety requirements Help maintain a clean, organized, and efficient clinical environment Support the dental team with additional clinical duties as needed to keep the schedule running smoothly

Pay:

$23.00

•$27.00 per hour
