Job Description

Maintenance Director Position Summary:
The Maintenance Director will be responsible for planning, implementing, and overseeing all facility maintenance needs. The ideal candidate will have a background in property management and/or maintenance and will demonstrate a thoroughness, professionalism, and flexibility to meet the needs of an organization that is constantly changing. The Maintenance Director will report to the Facilities Manager and will be expected to contribute to the overall success of the organization.
Essential Functions:
  • Coordinate all facility maintenance needs with the Facilities Manager.
  • Develop and implement maintenance plans for all facilities.
  • Conduct regular facility inspections.
  • Prepare and submit maintenance requests to appropriate departments.
  • Prepare and submit vendor invoices for repairs or replacements of equipment or facilities.
  • Coordinate with other departments to schedule equipment or facility repairs when necessary.
  • Ensure that all facilities are cleaned on a regular basis.
  • Assist in the development of facility safety programs as needed.
  • Ensure that all employees are trained on proper use of equipment and safety procedures.
  • Complete other duties as assigned by Management.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 5+ years' experience in Facilities Management role; or proven track record of successful management experience in facilities maintenance.
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.. (specific software cannot be provided)..and must have prior experience in property management preferred.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal are required along with the ability to work independently and problem solve in a fast-paced environment.

From $55,000.00 per year
