Job Overview Join our dynamic dental team as a Dental Assistant, where your skills and passion for patient care will shine! In this role, you will be an essential part of our practice, providing support to our dentists and ensuring a smooth, efficient experience for our patients. You'll engage in a variety of tasks that enhance patient comfort and facilitate high-quality dental care. What you'll do Assist dentists during examinations and procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment while adhering to infection control protocols Take and develop dental X-rays, ensuring compliance with safety standards Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in electronic medical record (EMR) systems Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care Manage appointment scheduling and act as a dental receptionist when needed Monitor vital signs and assist with medical imaging as required Support pediatric dentistry procedures with care tailored to younger patients Basic qualifications Proficiency in dental terminology and anatomy knowledge Familiarity with EMR systems such as Dentrix or Eaglesoft Understanding of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality Preferred qualifications Experience in chairside assisting within general dentistry, prosthodontics, or endodontics Knowledge of medical coding and documentation practices Previous experience in a dental clinic setting, particularly with pediatric patients Skills in using advanced technology like 3D scanners Why you'll love it here We are dedicated to fostering an environment where our team members can thrive both professionally and personally.
