Job Description

Dental Assistant Job Type:
Full-Time / Part-Time (to be discussed) About Us At Ottawa Children's Dentistry, we are passionate about creating positive dental experiences for our patients and their families. Our goal is to provide the highest quality dental care in a friendly, compassionate, and fun environment. Help make a difference in a child's oral health with us! We are looking for a wonderful Dental Assistant to join our amazing team. Key Responsibilities Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Taking dental radiographs (x-rays) Performing rubber cup prophylaxis and sealants Chairside assisting Sterilization, cleaning, tray preparation, and operatory set-up Dental charting and entering detailed chart notes
Skills & Qualifications Required:
High school diploma Works well in a team environment with humor, enthusiasm, and joyful consideration of others Ability to multi-task, take initiative, and anticipate the needs of others Reliable and punctual Exceptional computer skills
Preferred:
Graduation from a Dental Assistant program or proven experience as a Dental Assistant Additional certifications or training (e.g., coronal polishing, sealants, nitrous oxide monitoring certification) Why Join Us? $20.00 - $26.00 per hour

Nitrous Oxide Certification (Preferred) CPR Certification (Preferred) Coronal Polish Certificate and Sealant Certificate (Preferred)
