In this energetic role, you will support dentists by preparing treatment areas, assisting during procedures, and ensuring patients feel comfortable and cared for. Your expertise in dental assisting, infection control, and medical documentation will help create a smooth, efficient, and welcoming environment for every patient. We're looking for motivated individuals eager to contribute to a thriving dental practice dedicated to improving smiles and health. Responsibilities Prepare treatment rooms with necessary instruments, supplies, and sterilized equipment in accordance with aseptic technique and infection control protocols Assist dentists chairside during various procedures including general dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics, and pediatric dentistry Take and develop dental X-rays and utilize advanced imaging tools such as 3D scanners to support accurate diagnoses Manage patient records using Eaglesoft while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations for patient privacy Collect vital signs and medical history information to assist in comprehensive patient assessments Perform all sterilization duties and follow protocols Manage supply and inventory Maintain a clean, organized clinical environment adhering to infection control standards and proper aseptic techniques Qualifications Proven experience as a Dental Assistant or in a dental clinic setting with knowledge of general dentistry procedures Familiarity with Eaglesoft is a plus Strong understanding of dental terminology, anatomy knowledge, and infection control practices Ability to perform chairside assisting efficiently in both four-handed dentistry setups and pediatric dentistry environments Proficiency in taking X-rays and operating 3D scanners when needed Knowledge of HIPAA regulations Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients of all ages including pediatrics Join us to make a positive impact on our patients' oral health while advancing your career in a vibrant, supportive environment!
