Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our dental clinic. This position requires proficiency in various dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for patients. Duties Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques. Prepare and maintain dental instruments and equipment following sterile technique. Take and develop X-rays, ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Record medical information, vital signs, and maintain accurate medical documentation. Provide chairside assistance during various dental procedures. Educate patients on post-operative care instructions. Ensure infection control protocols are followed to maintain a safe clinical environment. Take 3D's for imaging as required for specific procedures. Requirements Proven experience as a Dental Assistant or in a similar role within a dental clinic setting. Familiarity with dental terminology, anatomy knowledge, and infection control practices. Manage medical records, and understand HIPAA regulations. Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport with patients of all ages. Ability to take X-rays safely and effectively.
