We pair modern treatment modalities— braces, clear aligners and digital scanning — with a warm, fun office where patients feel at home. We're continuously growing and looking for an Orthodontic Assistant to join our clinical team. Position Summary As an Orthodontic Assistant, you'll work chairside with our orthodontists to deliver excellent care at every visit. You'll prepare patients, place and adjust appliances, take records, and make sure every patient leaves informed and smiling. This is a full-time role for someone who enjoys hands-on clinical work and building relationships with patients and families. Key Responsibilities Seat patients, review health history and prepare them for treatment Assist the orthodontist chairside during bonding, adjustments, debonding and other procedures Place and remove separators, archwires, ligatures, elastics and other appliances as directed Take orthodontic records: digital intraoral scans, photos, X-rays (panoramic/cephalometric) Fit and deliver retainers and clear aligners, and explain wear and care Teach patients and parents about oral hygiene, appliance care and what to expect during treatment Sterilize instruments and keep treatment areas clean, stocked and compliant with OSHA and infection-control standards Document treatment notes accurately in the practice management system Support the front desk and team with scheduling, patient flow and other duties as needed Qualifications Required High school diploma or equivalent Radiography certification or eligibility to obtain it per Indiana requirements Strong communication skills and a friendly, patient manner with kids, teens and adults Attention to detail, reliability and the ability to work well in a fast-paced team Preferred 1+ year of orthodontic or dental assisting experience New to orthodontics? Pay:
$20.00 - $24.00 per hour Expected hours: 32.0 - 36.0 per week
