Job Description
Duties:
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures
- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment
- Take dental x-rays
- Prepare materials for impressions and restorations
- Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care
- Perform dental charting, medical coding, and documentation using Eaglesoft software
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and medical histories
- Perform patient assessments, including blood pressure measurements and oral health evaluations
- Provide support in dental procedures
Skills:
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proficient in using dental software, such as Eaglesoft for medical coding and documentation
- Knowledge of dental procedures, instruments, and equipment
- Ability to take accurate dental x-rays and perform dental charting
- Understanding of medical records management and confidentiality protocols This position requires a Dental Assistant certification or diploma from an accredited program.

$20.00- $28.
