Job Description

Midwest Dental Specialists is seeking a personable, motivated Certified Dental Assistant to join our growing team. This position is ideal for someone looking to begin or grow a career in dentistry. We are looking for someone with a positive attitude, strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and a genuine desire to learn. As a Certified Dental Assistant, you will work alongside our doctors and experienced clinical team to help deliver exceptional periodontal care in a modern, patient-focused specialty practice. We will provide training to help you develop the clinical skills needed to succeed in a specialty practice. Our practice is known for providing a high-end patient experience, so professionalism, attention to detail, and a warm, welcoming personality are just as important as technical ability. Responsibilities Prepare treatment rooms with instruments, supplies, and materials before procedures. Assist doctors and experienced dental assistants during periodontal and implant procedures. Help maintain sterilization and infection control protocols throughout the office. Prepare and organize instruments before, during, and after treatment. Escort patients to and from treatment rooms while creating a comfortable, welcoming experience. Support patient education by reinforcing post-operative instructions and oral hygiene recommendations. Assist with clinical charting and documentation using Open Dental. Help maintain an organized, clean, and efficient clinical environment. Learn advanced periodontal procedures and specialty techniques through on-the-job training. Work collaboratively with doctors and team members to ensure exceptional patient care. What We're Looking For Friendly, outgoing personality with exceptional customer service skills. Professional appearance and demeanor. Eager to learn and develop new clinical skills. Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities. Dependable, punctual, and able to work well in a fast-paced environment. Excellent verbal communication skills.
