McKay Dentistry is a small, privately owned dental office seeking a positive, dependable, and motivated Dental Assistant to join our team. Experience is highly valued, but we are willing to train the right person who has a great attitude, strong work ethic, and a desire to learn. You will be responsible for supporting the dentist in delivering efficient, comfortable, and comprehensive dental treatments. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will ensure smooth clinic operations, uphold infection control standards, and enhance patient experiences. This exciting opportunity to grow your skills in a fast-paced, friendly environment dedicated to oral health excellence. Schedule Monday - Thursday 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM No evenings No weekends What We're Looking For Friendly and professional personality Strong communication skills Dependable and punctual Self-starter who takes initiative Team-oriented mindset Desire to learn and grow Dental assisting experience preferred, but not required Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing appointments, records, and clinical supplies Responsibilities Assist the doctor during dental procedures: general dentistry, prosthodontics, oral surgery, and pediatric dentistry Prepare treatment rooms and instruments Operate dental equipment such as X-ray machines, 3D scanners, and same day crowns Sterilize instruments and maintain infection control standards Educate patients on oral health and treatment recommendations Help create a positive and comfortable patient experience Support team members wherever needed Coordinate with the dental reception team for appointment scheduling and patient communication while maintaining organized medical documentation and records.
