Dental Professionals, LLC is looking for an experienced Dental Assistant to join our established general dentistry practice in Derby. We are looking for someone who is confident in their skills, dependable, professional, and enjoys being part of a team. This is not an entry-level position. We want someone who can step into a busy dental environment and contribute from day one. •1:00 PM No evenings. No Saturdays. No Sundays. What You'll Do Our Dental Assistants are an important part of the clinical team. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Chairside assisting with general dentistry procedures Taking digital X-rays Treatment room setup and turnover Instrument sterilization and infection control Assisting with restorative procedures Crown & bridge Endodontic procedures Implant procedures Removable procedures Making temporary crowns Denture adjustments and other clinical duties Supporting efficient patient flow Maintaining a clean, organized clinical environment Anticipating the doctor's needs and working as a team Flexibility is important. Team members may be asked to assist with duties outside their primary responsibilities when needed to support the doctors, patients, and overall operation of the practice. What We're Looking For We require a minimum of 2 years of dental assisting experience in a general dental practice.

Experienced and confident chairside Dependable and punctual Organized and detail-oriented Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment A team player who is willing to help wherever needed Professional and friendly with patients Comfortable communicating with doctors, coworkers, and patients Experienced with digital X-rays Familiar with Dentrix or Dentrix Ascend Knowledgeable about sterilization and infection-control procedures Professionalism matters to us.
