Job description: Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Dental Assistant (2+ yrs experience) to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in dental assisting, patient care, and clinical excellence. Responsibilities Assist dentists with a wide range of procedures including general dentistry, prosthodontics, endodontics, and pediatric dentistry, ensuring smooth workflow and optimal patient comfort. Maintain accurate medical documentation and records in compliance with HIPAA regulations while utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Dentrix. Perform vital signs assessment and monitor patient health status before procedures to ensure safety standards are met. Qualifications Proven experience as a dental assistant with comprehensive knowledge of general dentistry procedures and clinical protocols. Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations regarding patient privacy and data security. Knowledge of infection control standards, aseptic technique, and sterilization processes in a busy dental clinic setting. Excellent communication skills coupled with a thorough understanding of dental terminology and anatomy for effective patient interactions.
