We are seeking a dependable, outgoing customer service driven individual to fill our Full-time Dental Assisting position (average 35hrs/week). Our office provides an exciting, rewarding and team oriented atmosphere for each team member. You would be responsible for interacting with our patients and their families regarding their oral healthcare needs and services we provide. We pride ourselves in providing excellent care and customer service so communication skills are a must. Attention to detail is paramount as you would also be responsible for preparing our patients for care and assisting our dentist on procedures.
Dental Assistant's Objective :
To educate patients and families on proper oral hygiene and their unique dental needs. To facilitate patient care by assisting the dentist during procedures, preparing the patient, treatment rooms and instruments.

Improve Skills Responsibilities :
Review patient charts daily Prepare rooms for treatment- Obtain patient x-rays in accordance to regulations Maintain/Sterilize dental instruments Maintain/Clean your work environment Greeting patient and preparing them for treatment Assist dentist by Handing instruments, Mixing dental cements Managing patients and families Providing detailed post-care instructions Explaining procedures and expectations Cleaning up the patient after treatment Prophylaxis of patient's teeth Reviewing oral hygiene techniques and its importance Maintaining accurate dental records in our electronic record system Taking impressions Delivering appliances Promote the office Assist in filling the schedule Scheduling patients Communicate with other dental offices regarding patient care
Skills/Qualifications:
BLS Certification 1+ years dental assisting experience preferred Background check Experience with Electronic Dental Records desired
