Overview We are seeking a full-time Dental Assistant to join our dynamic team! This energetic role offers an exciting opportunity to support our dentists and enhance patient experiences through skilled clinical assistance and efficient practice operations. The ideal candidate will be passionate about dental care, highly organized, and eager to contribute to a positive dental environment. Responsibilities Assist dentists during a variety of treatment procedures, including general dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics, prosthodontics, and pediatric dentistry Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing and organizing dental instruments and equipment according to infection prevention management protocols Take and develop dental x-rays and 3D scans while ensuring adherence to dental sterilization procedures and aseptic techniques Manage patient records using electronic medical records (EMR) systems such as Eaglesoft, Dentrix, or similar software Provide patient care by taking vital signs, explaining procedures, and ensuring patient comfort throughout visits Maintain clinical confidentiality policies while handling medical documentation and medical records securely Support front desk duties as a dental receptionist when needed, including scheduling appointments and managing patient management software Skills Proficiency with EMR systems like Eaglesoft, Dentrix, or comparable platforms for accurate record keeping Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to dental procedures Experience with dental equipment operation including X-ray machines, 3D scanners, and other clinical tools Expertise in dental sterilization procedures, infection control practices, and aseptic techniques to ensure safety standards are met Ability to perform chairside assisting with four-handed dentistry techniques for efficiency during procedures Excellent communication skills for patient management and team collaboration Knowledge of healthcare infection prevention and control policies aligned with HIPAA regulations Join us at Albert Dental where your skills will make a difference!
