Our ideal candidate is a fast learner with at least 1 year of experience as a Registered Dental Assistant, is familiar with iTero scanning and is comfortable assisting in various procedures, including endodontics. Responsibilities:
Provide a welcoming, soothing and customer service focused experience for patients. Prepare patients for treatment or checkups ensuring their comfort. Take diagnostic x-rays using standard dental radiographic equipment. Assist the Dentist with a high level of partnership through four handed dentistry. Arrive prepared for each day and review patient charts for morning huddle. Maintain accurate patient records and assist with payment procedures when needed. Verify patient health history (basic health review, medications, understanding impact with dentistry) and document appropriately in patient's chart. Manage lab cases and schedule patients as needed. Assist with other office duties as requested or needed.
Skills:
Proven experience as Dental Assistant Open to cross training to support our teamwork focused office approach. Effective time management skills and able to support a steady flow in Dr's schedule. Able to be flexible and multi-task to meet the needs of a busy schedule. Must have outstanding communication and customer service skills. Welcoming and patient personality with an ability to build rapport with others easily. Great attention to detail and follow through. Dental terminology knowledge and ability to educate patients regarding procedures.
