In this vital role, you will assist dentists during procedures, manage patient care, and ensure smooth clinic operations. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will contribute to maintaining high standards of clinical excellence, infection control, and patient satisfaction. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to grow your skills in a fast-paced, patient-centered setting dedicated to oral health. Duties Prepare treatment rooms with dental instruments, materials, and equipment, ensuring all instruments are sterilized and ready for use according to infection prevention management protocols. Assist dentists during a variety of procedures including general dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics, prosthodontics, and pediatric dentistry by providing chairside support and managing dental instruments efficiently. Take X-rays using dental x-ray equipment and 3D scanners while adhering strictly to radiation safety standards and clinical confidentiality policies. Provide excellent patient care by explaining procedures, answering questions, and ensuring comfort throughout visits; assist with patient management software for appointment scheduling and follow-up. Maintain strict infection control standards through proper sterilization procedures for dental instruments and equipment, including dental instrument processing and aseptic techniques. Support administrative tasks such as greeting patients as a dental receptionist, managing medical documentation, updating medical records, and coordinating with the dental team to ensure seamless clinic operations. Skills Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and clinical procedures across various specialties including pediatric dentistry, endodontics, prosthodontics, and oral surgery. Expertise in dental equipment operation including X-ray machines, 3D scanners, sterilization devices, and other dental tools. Experience with infection prevention management practices such as aseptic technique and healthcare infection control standards. Ability to perform dental sterilization procedures accurately while maintaining compliance with clinical confidentiality policies. Excellent communication skills to effectively assist patients of all ages while demonstrating compassionate patient care.
