Job Description
Dental Assistant/EDDA-$500 sign on bonus We are a family-focused private dental practice committed to providing exceptional dental care in a welcoming and comfortable environment. Our team takes pride in creating positive experiences for every patient through compassion, professionalism, and outstanding clinical care. We are looking for a motivated, dependable Dental Assistant/EDDA who is passionate about dentistry, enjoys working with people, and thrives in a collaborative team setting. Responsibilities Prepare treatment rooms and ensure operatories are clean, organized, and fully stocked Assist the dentist during a variety of procedures, including preventive, restorative, cosmetic, and surgical treatments Take high-quality digital radiographs Educate patients by providing pre- and post-treatment instructions Sterilize instruments and maintain equipment in accordance with OSHA and infection control standards Accurately update patient records and assist with clinical charting Help with occasional front office duties, including scheduling, patient check-in/check-out, and answering phones when needed Deliver exceptional customer service while maintaining a friendly, positive, and professional attitude Work closely with the dental team to ensure efficient patient flow and an outstanding patient experience Qualifications Dental Assistant certification or Kentucky EDDA certification Current Radiology certification (required) Current CPR certification (or willingness to obtain) Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Positive attitude with a strong commitment to patient care and teamwork Experience with Eaglesoft dental software is preferred but not required What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience Health benefits (if applicable) Paid time off and paid holidays Continuing education and professional development opportunities Supportive, fun, and team-oriented work environment Opportunity for long-term growth with a well-established private dental practice Monday-Thursday, every other Friday schedule with a great work-life balance
