Expanded Duties Dental Assistant (EDDA) - Edgewood Dental Care Are you an experienced, patient-focused Expanded Duties Dental Assistant looking for a practice where you can grow, be appreciated, and make a difference every day? Our busy, modern dental office in Edgewood, Kentucky is looking for an Expanded Duties Dental Assistant (EDDA) to join our team! We're searching for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys working alongside an exceptional team, and is passionate about delivering outstanding patient care. If you're dependable, motivated, and take pride in your work, we'd love to meet you.
Responsibilities:
Assist the doctor during a wide range of dental procedures Perform expanded duties in accordance with Kentucky regulations Take quality digital radiographs Fabricate and adjust temporary crowns Place and finish restorations as permitted by EDDA certification Maintain accurate clinical documentation Prepare and sterilize instruments while maintaining OSHA and infection control standards Educate patients on treatment and oral health Support a positive patient experience from start to finish Work collaboratively with doctors, hygienists, and administrative team members
Qualifications:
Current Kentucky Expanded Duties Dental Assistant (EDDA) certification Current X-ray certification Previous dental assisting experience preferred Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Positive attitude with a team-first mentality Reliable, professional, and eager to learn
