Full-Time Expanded Duty Dental Assistant Job Description:
Mid America Health (MAH) is seeking a full
  • time expanded duty dental assistant to join our KY team. Mid America Health is hiring a dental assistant to work Full
  • time, 40 hours per week, in LaGrange, KY . This amazing dental assisting opportunity will work either a 4
  • day schedule, Tuesday through Friday from 6 am to 4 pm, or a 5
  • day schedule, Monday through Friday from 6 am to 2 pm.
This dental assistant position will work between 2 facilities, Luther Luckett Correctional Complex and Roederer Correctional Complex. Both of the facilities are located in LaGrange, KY. This position is a rewarding, low stress alternative to private practice dentistry that offers health insurance, including optional dental and vision coverage as well as generous paid time off and paid holidays. There are no late nights or weekends required for this position. Mid America Health offers competitive compensation of $20 per hour. Duties:
Routine chairside duties include preventive, restorative, extraction and prosthodontic care. No ortho, crown & bridge or endo required. Significant administrative duties are also required.
Qualifications:
1 year experience and certificate from an accredited dental assisting program preferred KY X-Ray Certification required CPR for Health Care Providers
