$26.00 - $32.00 per hour, based on experience Cambridgeside Dental is a well-established, privately owned practice in Cambridge, MA seeking an experienced Dental Assistant with a background in general and prosthetic dentistry . We're looking for a dependable, positive professional who takes pride in their work and enjoys being part of a close-knit, high-quality team. Working chairside with our dentist, you'll provide direct and indirect patient care and help keep the office running smoothly and efficiently. Required Experience & Certifications 3+ years of dental assisting experience (required) Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) license (required) Radiology (X-ray) certification (required) Experience with endodontic and periodontal procedures strongly preferred Experience with general prosthetic dentistry preferred Comfortable with 4-handed chairside assisting Eaglesoft experience a plus Responsibilities Welcome and prepare patients for treatment, ensuring comfort throughout Take radiographs and intra-oral images Select and set up instruments, equipment, and materials for each procedure Sterilize instruments per health & safety regulations Assist the dentist through 4-handed dentistry Complete lab tasks as instructed Provide patients with oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions Keep the operatory clean, organized, and well-stocked What You Bring Strong clinical and chairside assisting skills Solid knowledge of dental instruments, sterilization protocols, and safety regulations Excellent communication and patient care skills Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented High school diploma and completion of a dental assistant program Why Join Us Privately owned practice with a collaborative, professional team Free on-site parking in a private garage Easy access to public transportation Stable, long-term opportunity in a modern practice Benefits (Full-Time) 401(k) with employer match after one year Health insurance Private dental insurance Paid time off (PTO) Paid sick time 6 paid holidays
