  • An enthusiastic, personable, energetic, and "experienced" candidate who is comfortable with all phases of chair-side assisting including: chair-side assisting, taking x-rays, sterilization, operatory prep/clean, following infectious control guidelines.
  • taking radiographs, friendly, confident, Spanish/Portuguese speaking is a plus!
  • This is a Full or Part-time position, for up to 4-6 days a week and hours of (approximate working hours: 8:45am-7:15 PM, Fri/Sat half day). Flexible hours!

  • Responsibilities:
  • Assist the dentist during dental procedures, including preparing the patient, sterilizing instruments, and handing instruments to the dentist
  • Take and develop dental x-rays
  • Perform basic dental laboratory procedures, such as pouring impressions and fabricating temporary crowns
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
  • Schedule appointments and manage patient flow in the dental office
  • Provide excellent customer service and ensure patient comfort and satisfaction
  • Skills:
  • Proficient in aseptic technique and infection control protocols
  • Knowledge of dental systems and equipment
  • Ability to assess patients' oral health needs and provide appropriate care
  • Competent in dental assisting procedures, including chairside assisting, instrument handling, and tray setup
  • Familiarity with dental receptionist duties, such as scheduling appointments and managing patient records
  • Experience working with pediatric patients is a plus
  • Knowledge of computer-assisted design (CAD) software for dental restorations is desirable
  • Understanding of HIPAA regulations and ability to maintain patient confidentiality
  • Strong attention to detail for accurate medical documentation
