New year new opportunity! We are seeking an ambitious full time Licensed Dental Assistant to join our practice 5 days a week.
Dental assistant responsibilities include:
greeting and preparing patients for dental procedures, including recording medical/dental histories, four-handed dental assisting techniques, current Infection Control Compliance, and exposing high-quality digital radiographs . Skill in providing excellent customer service and support; ability to multi-task and work as a positive team player. Position requires a current MA Dental Assistant Registration, Radiology Certification, computer literacy, CPR certification . BLS for Health Care Providers required. We have two dental operatories and two assistants for each doctor plus a surgical suite.   • 5 days per week . The options can be discussed in an interview. Dental Assistant Responsibilities Include but not limited to:
  • Assist the dentist during examinations and treatment procedures
  • Prepare treatment rooms for patient procedures
  • Sterilize and maintain dental instruments
  • Take good quality digital dental X-rays
  • Take impressions and pour models, 3D scanner for Invisalign and Crowns
  • Provide patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures
  • Maintain accurate detailed patient records and clinical notes
  • Perform infection control procedures to maintain a clean and safe environment
  • Assist with prosthodontics procedures
  • Support pediatric dentistry and general dentistry services
  • Practice four-handed dentistry techniques for efficient patient care
  • Handle coding and documentation related to dental procedures, setting complete treatment, printing/phasing treatment plans
Dental Assistant Qualifications:
  • Completion of a dental assistant program, current license (required)
  • X-Ray certification (required)
  • Knowledge of dental coding and documentation practices
  • Experience working in a dental practice setting is a plus
  • Strong communication skills and ability to interact with patients and fellow coworkers in a professional manner
