Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and support to our dental practitioners. This position requires a strong commitment to infection control, patient comfort, and the ability to assist in various dental procedures. The Dental Assistant will also be responsible for managing clinical tasks and ensuring the smooth operation of the dental clinic. Duties Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety. Perform medical imaging, including X-rays, using appropriate protocols. Maintain infection control standards by sterilizing instruments and preparing treatment rooms. Utilize Eaglesoft software for patient records management and scheduling appointments. Operate 3D scanners for advanced imaging techniques as needed. Support pediatric dentistry by creating a welcoming environment for young patients. Monitor vital signs and assist in the assessment of patient health prior to procedures. Manage dental receptionist duties, including greeting patients and handling administrative tasks. Assist in endodontics procedures by preparing materials and instruments as required. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care. Experience Previous experience as a Dental Assistant in a dental clinic setting is preferred. Familiarity with pediatric dentistry practices is a plus. Proficiency in using Eaglesoft or similar dental software is advantageous. Knowledge of infection control protocols and safety regulations in a clinical environment is essential. Experience with medical imaging techniques, including X-rays, is required. A background in endodontics or related fields is beneficial but not mandatory.
