Boschetti DMD, PC Revere, MA Job Details Part-time $30 - $35 an hour 6 hours ago Qualifications CPR Certification Teamwork BLS Certification Eaglesoft Patient care Radiology Certification Full Job Description Orthodontic Dental Assistant - Thursdays We are a modern, fast-growing multi-specialty dental practice seeking an experienced Orthodontic Dental Assistant to join our growing orthodontic program. This position is currently one day per week on Thursdays from 7:45 AM-5:00 PM . As our orthodontic program continues to expand, our goal is to grow this role into a full-time position , making this an excellent opportunity for someone interested in growing with our practice. We are looking for a motivated, detail-oriented assistant who is confident in orthodontic workflows, takes pride in providing an excellent patient experience, and enjoys being part of a collaborative, high-performing team. Responsibilities Assist the orthodontist during procedures, including bracket placement, wire changes, adjustments, and debonds Take complete orthodontic records, including photos and charting Capture and manage digital X-rays and intraoral scans Upload, edit, and organize patient images using Dolphin Imaging Track and manage Invisalign cases, progress, and attachments Fabricate in-office Essix retainers and pour models Maintain accurate and thorough clinical notes in Eaglesoft or a similar practice management system Prepare and break down operatories efficiently Educate patients and parents on orthodontic care, hygiene, and appliance instructions Follow sterilization and infection-control protocols Work closely with the orthodontist and team to maintain an efficient patient flow and exceptional patient experience Qualifications Previous orthodontic assisting experience required Radiology certification required CPR certification Experience with digital scanning (iTero or similar) preferred Experience with Dolphin Imaging preferred Familiarity with Eaglesoft preferred Strong attention to detail, particularly with orthodontic records and case tracking Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment Positive, dependable, and team-oriented attitude
