Take high-quality dental x-rays and utilize medical imaging technology like 3D scanners to aid in diagnosis and treatment planning. Manage patient records using electronic medical records (EMR) systems such as Dentrix or Eaglesoft while maintaining strict clinical confidentiality policies. Perform vital signs assessments and document medical documentation accurately to support comprehensive patient care. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, post-treatment care, and answer questions about procedures using clear dental terminology. Follow infection prevention management protocols including dental sterilization procedures, aseptic technique, and infection control standards to ensure a safe environment for everyone. Experience Prior experience working in a dental clinic setting is highly preferred; familiarity with dental equipment and clinical procedures is essential. Proficiency with dental assisting techniques such as four-handed dentistry and chairside assisting enhances workflow efficiency.
