The candidate must have excellent chairside and patient care skills. He/She should be well-organized with ability to follow instructions and be a team player. Responsibilities Prepare patients and treatment rooms for dental procedures such as crown and bridges, implants, prophy and restorations. Sterilize instruments and clean operatories according to infection control standards. Assist the dentist chairside. Update patient charts and take radiology films as required. Undertake lab tasks as instructed. Provide oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions. Keep the dental room clean and well-stocked. Other tasks as assigned by lead DA or dentist. Requirements Dental assisting license with radiology certification. Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods. CPR certification. Ability to perform regulated non-surgical tasks like coronal polishing, impressions taking. Excellent communication and people skills. Attention to detail. Well-organized and reliable. Ability to speak Spanish is a plus.
