Experience & Key Responsibilities:

Assist the dentist during pediatric dental procedures Prepare treatment rooms and dental instruments Help create a calm, positive experience for pediatric patients Take and process dental X-rays as needed Maintain sterilization and infection control protocols Educate patients and parents on oral hygiene and post-treatment care Accurately document clinical notes and maintain patient records Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management

Requirements:

Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) certification required CPR/BLS certification required or willingness to obtain Previous dental assisting experience preferred; pediatric experience a plus Knowledge of dental instruments, procedures, and safety protocols Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment Strong communication skills and a friendly, patient-focused demeanor Team members are expected to uphold the culture outlined in the SDB Handbook, with a focus on our core values and any additional responsibilities as defined
