Job Description
Position Summary We are seeking a full-time Dental Assistant with at least 2 years of hands-on experience and current certification. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, comfortable working chairside with a variety of procedures, and passionate about patient care. Responsibilities Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize/organize instruments before and after procedures Assist the dentist chairside during exams, cleanings, and procedures Take and process dental X-rays Take impressions, pour models, and fabricate temporary crowns as needed Educate patients on post-treatment care and oral hygiene Maintain accurate patient records and chart treatment notes Manage inventory and order dental supplies as needed Ensure compliance with OSHA and infection-control protocols Support front-desk staff with scheduling and patient flow when needed Qualifications Minimum 2 years of experience as a Dental Assistant Current Dental Assistant certification/license as required by Massachusetts Current CPR/BLS certification X-ray certification (radiography license, where required) Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical environment Proficiency with dental practice management software Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented Schedule Full-time, Monday, Wednesday and Thursday from 7:30am to 5:30pm, Tuesday 8am to 2pm
