Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our dental practice, contributing to both clinical and administrative aspects.
Responsibilities:
Clinical Responsibilities:
Sterilize and maintain treatment rooms, ensuring cleanliness and compliance with infection control protocols. Restock treatment rooms with necessary supplies. Manage lab cases and assist in scheduling patients for crowns, dentures, partials, and other procedures. Assist the doctor chairside during various dental procedures. Possess knowledge of dental terminology and procedure protocols, including fillings, crowns, root canals, extractions, or a willingness to learn. Obtain and maintain an X-ray license or possess an existing X-ray license.
Qualifications:
Experience in a dental office setting is preferred. Familiarity with Open Dental software is preferred, or a strong willingness to learn. Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with patients and team members. Strong organizational skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively. Willingness to obtain or already possess an X-ray license.
