Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and versatile Dental Assistant to join our team at a new dental clinic. Our office focuses on holistic care. The ideal candidate is a great communicator and someone interested in a long-term relationship with our practice. This role requires dental assisting experience . You will play a key role in ensuring smooth operations by supporting the dentist chairside, managing sterilization protocols, and handling administrative tasks such as scheduling and patient communication. Our office operates in a nearly paperless environment. The ideal candidate must be comfortable using computers and digital systems for daily tasks, communication, and documentation. Duties Greet patients and visitors warmly and professionally, ensuring a positive first impression. Assist the dentist chairside during procedures, including setup, instrument handling, and patient comfort. Maintain accurate patient records and review documentation for completeness. Prepare and sterilize instruments and maintain operatory cleanliness according to infection control protocols. Assist with health information management and ensure compliance with clinic policies. Coordinate with dental staff to ensure smooth patient flow throughout the clinic. Provide information regarding services offered and answer patient questions. Support social media and marketing campaigns. Maintain cleanliness and organization of clinical areas. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in healthcare administration is a plus. Previous experience as a dental assistant. Familiarity with medical and dental terminology is essential. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. Excellent verbal and written communication skills; proficiency is an advantage. Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism. Comfortable appearing on social media for educational or promotional content and enjoys engaging with digital platforms. Proficient in office software applications and electronic health record systems. Knowledge of Curve Dental is a plus. Onboard training to be provided. $22.00 - $28.00 per hour
