Job Description

Job Overview Join our dynamic dental team as a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA), where your expertise will directly enhance patient care and support our mission to deliver exceptional dental services. In this energetic role, you will assist dentists during procedures, manage patient flow, and ensure a smooth clinical operation. BILINGUAL IN SPANISH PREFERRED
Assist dentists chairside during a variety of procedures including general dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics, prosthodontics, and pediatric dentistry. Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment in accordance with infection prevention management protocols. Take and develop dental X-rays and 3D scans while ensuring adherence to dental x-ray safety standards. Manage patient records using electronic medical records (EMR) systems such as Dentrix or Eaglesoft, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Monitor vital signs and medical documentation to support comprehensive patient care. Provide excellent patient care by explaining procedures, answering questions, and maintaining clinical confidentiality policies. Support administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, greeting patients as a dental receptionist, and managing patient flow with effective patient management software. Requirements Valid certification as a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) or equivalent licensure. Proven experience in dental assisting within a general dentistry or specialty practice, including pediatric dentistry preferred. Proficiency with dental terminology, medical terminology, and dental equipment operation. Hands-on experience with EMR systems like Dentrix or Eaglesoft; familiarity with patient management software is highly desirable. Knowledge of infection control standards, aseptic technique, dental sterilization procedures, and healthcare infection prevention practices. Ability to perform X-ray procedures safely and accurately while following all safety guidelines. Strong understanding of anatomy knowledge relevant to dental procedures and oral surgery. Pay:
$23.00 - $27.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
