Join Benevis Dental as a Dental Assistant in our Healthcare & Medical Services team. In this role, you'll support dentists with chairside assistance, prepare and maintain instruments, take X-rays, and ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for patients. Responsibilities Assist the dentist chairside during examinations, treatments, and procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques Prepare treatment rooms by cleaning, disinfecting, and setting up instruments, materials, and equipment according to infection control standards Take, process, and mount dental X-rays/radiographs in compliance with safety and state regulations Document patient information, treatment notes, and procedures accurately in the practice management/EHR system Welcome patients, review health histories, and help ensure they are comfortable and prepared for treatment Provide patients with post-operative instructions and basic oral hygiene education to support positive outcomes and patient satisfaction Maintain and sterilize instruments and equipment, and monitor inventory of dental supplies and materials Support front-desk activities as needed, including scheduling, confirming appointments, and coordinating patient flow Collaborate closely with dentists, hygienists, and team members to deliver efficient, high-quality, patient-centered care Participate in ongoing training and quality-improvement initiatives that align with Benevis Dental's focus on innovation and community impact Required Skills Chairside dental assisting Dental radiography/X-rays Infection control and sterilization Dental charting and documentation Four-handed dentistry Dental materials handling and setup Electronic health records (EHR) for dental Patient scheduling and front-desk support Instrument and operatory preparation Patient education on oral hygiene Taking impressions and preliminary models Vital signs measurement and basic clinical support Time management in a clinical setting Communication with diverse patient populations
