Job Summary We are seeking a Experienced, dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our dental team by assisting with various procedures, managing patient records, and ensuring a clean and safe environment. This position requires a strong understanding of dental practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting. Responsibilities Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, including four-handed dentistry techniques. Prepare and maintain dental instruments, ensuring they are sterile and ready for use. Take and develop X-rays as needed, adhering to safety protocols. Manage medical records and patient information using Dentrix or similar systems. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care. Conduct infection control procedures to maintain a safe environment for patients and staff. Operate 3D scanners for imaging when required. Provide support in endodontics procedures as necessary. Maintain an organized and clean work area throughout the day. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a dental assistant program is preferred. Knowledge of anatomy related to dentistry is essential. Familiarity with infection control protocols and safety regulations in a dental setting. Experience with Dentrix software or similar medical record systems is advantageous. Proficiency in taking X-rays and operating dental imaging equipment. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
