Dental Assistant/Invisalign Coordintator

Job Description

Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Dental Assistant who will also take ownership of our Invisalign program as an Invisalign Coordinator . In this dual role, you will assist chairside with clinical procedures while serving as the dedicated guide for patients undergoing clear aligner therapy. You will educate patients, manage treatment tracking, coordinate case sequencing, and follow up on treatment acceptance to ensure a seamless and supportive patient experience.
Responsibilities Invisalign Coordination:
Manage the end-to-end Invisalign workflow, including scanning, submitting cases, tracking lab turnarounds, and scheduling clinical check-ins.
Patient Case Management:
Meet one-on-one with patients to review treatment recommendations, answer questions about clear aligner therapy, and outline financial responsibilities or payment options.
Treatment Follow-Up:
Proactively follow up with patients regarding pending aligner cases and unscheduled treatment to help them move forward with care.
Chairside Assistance:
Assist the dentist with various clinical procedures, aligner adjustments, impressions, and intraoral scans as needed.
Clinical Documentation:
Maintain accurate, up-to-date documentation of patient discussions, clinical notes, and treatment arrangements in Dentrix.
Team Collaboration:
Partner with doctors, hygienists, and front desk staff to maintain clear scheduling channels and cohesive patient care. Qualifications Previous dental assisting experience required; Invisalign or orthodontic coordinating experience strongly preferred . Active dental assisting credentials or state requirements met. Strong knowledge of dental terminology, treatment planning, and digital scanning technology (iTero/Dentrix). Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Detail-oriented, compassionate, and comfortable discussing financial arrangements and treatment plans. Benefits $500/month health stipend 401(k) with matching up to 4% Paid time off and paid holidays 3.5-work-week schedule
Pay:
$22.00 - $28.00 per hour
